Part Explosion Diagrams

Part Explosion Diagrams is a Service Information Type category containing diagrams that illustrate separate components within a system. The illustration shows the relationship between the system's individual parts. Components on the diagrams are either labeled by a name or a number. You'll find this feature especially useful when working on complex systems with multiple parts.

How do I find a Parts Explosion Diagram?

  1. Select a system from the Vehicle Components list located on the Top-Vehicle page.

Result: A page listing the available Service Information Types (SITs), subsystems and components of your selected system will display.

  1. From the list of SITs, click Part Explosion.

Result: A Part Explosion Diagram of your selected system is displayed.

  1. If available, click a reference number within the diagram.

Result: A list of available SITs on the selected component will display.

Note: The availability of the SIT category Part Explosion Diagrams will vary based on your vehicle and component selections.

How do I find Exploded Views?

  1. Select the Diagram shortcut from the Top-Vehicle page.

Result: A page is displayed listing the diagrams available for your selected system, subsystem or component.

  1. Select Exploded Views.

Result: A page is displayed listing the diagrams that are available in an exploded view.
