Service Intervals Service Information Types (SITs) refer to the standard maintenance requirements for predefined mileage/kilometer intervals, such as: 5,000, 7,500, or 15,000 miles. This section also includes information on the fluids to use when performing preventative maintenance.
To find a Service Interval article:
On the Top-Vehicle page, select Maintenance from the Vehicle Components list.
Result: The Maintenance page is displayed.
Select Service Intervals from the list of SITs.
Result: The Service Intervals page displays with one (1) or more of the following options:
Definition of Intervals
Routine Service
Severe Service Defined
Normal Service
Normal Service Table
Severe Service
Severe Service Table
Select the Service Interval topic you want to view.
Note:On some vehicles, you may encounter another level of selection before interval information is displayed. For example: a vehicle that has turbo available may have intervals listed for the turbo engine, as well as for the non-turbo engine.
