Module - Anti-Lock Brake Control

Removal

  

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

  

  1. CAUTION: Electronic modules are sensitive to static electrical charges. If exposed to the charges, damage may result. Be sure to ground your body when handling electronic components.

NOTE: The anti-lock brake control module is located under the passenger seat.

Disconnect the anti-lock brake control module electrical connector.

1 Loosen the bolt.
2 Remove the electrical connector.

  

  1. Remove the anti-lock brake control module.
1 Remove the bolts.
2 Remove the anti-lock brake control module.

Installation

NOTE: When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be drive 16 km (10 mi) or more to relearn its strategy.

  
  

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
