Removal and Installation

  

REMOVAL

  1. Drain engine coolant from the radiator. Refer to See: Coolant\Service and Repair.

CAUTION:
Perform when engine is cold.

  1. Remove CVT control module (if equipped). Refer to See: Powertrain Management\Transmission Control Systems\Control Module, CVT\Service and Repair\CVT RE0F10A\Removal And Installation.
  2. Remove battery tray. Refer to See: Starting and Charging\Battery\Service and Repair\Removal and Replacement\Sedan.
  3. Disconnect radiator upper hose.
  4. Disconnect fan motor connectors.
  5. Remove radiator cooling fan assembly.

INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:
Do not spill coolant in engine compartment. Use a shop cloth to absorb coolant.
