SIDE OIL SEAL
Removal and Installation
REMOVAL
- Remove the drive shaft. Refer to See: Drive Axles, Bearings and Joints\Axle Shaft Assembly\Service and Repair\Removal and Installation (Left Side), See: Drive Axles, Bearings and Joints\Axle Shaft Assembly\Service and Repair\Removal and Installation (Right Side).
- Remove oil seal using suitable tool.
CAUTION:
Do not damage the transaxle case surface when removing oil seal.
INSTALLATION
- Drive the oil seal straight into the transaxle case and clutch housing to the specified dimension "A" using Tools.
CAUTION:
Do not reuse oil seal.
- Install the drive shaft. Refer to See: Drive Axles, Bearings and Joints\Axle Shaft Assembly\Service and Repair\Removal and Installation (Left Side), See: Drive Axles, Bearings and Joints\Axle Shaft Assembly\Service and Repair\Removal and Installation (Right Side).
- Check the transaxle fluid level. Refer to See: Fluid - M/T\Service and Repair\Inspection.
