Jim Grant's Tech Tips
'94 Cadillac Seville STS, Where to Go for Recalls
Q:
Hello, sorry to trouble
you but can you please help me? I don't know much about cars and I'll
be grateful if you can answer these few questions. Where should I take
my 94 Cadillac Seville STS to get fixed since it is a recall? Also,
what's the recall vend number or how do I go about to receive one?
- Hazel S.
A:
To have safety recall
work performed at no cost you will have to take your Cadillac into any
Cadillac dealership. I would suggest calling your Cadillac dealership,
they will assist you in determining the safety recalls that apply to your
vehicle. If you wish to get a copy of the recalls for your vehicle, you
can go the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration webs site (www.nhtsa.dot.gov).
A quick check found 2 recalls that may effect your vehicle. The recall
campaign numbers were (94V158000) & (93V164000).
