Jim Grant's Tech Tips
'95 & '96 Mazda Millenia, Remote Programming
Q:
I have
a 95 &96 Mazda Millenia. I have purchased two additional remote
keyless entry transmitters. How do I program them?
A:
First,
remove the key from the ignition switch. Open the drivers door.
Then insert the key; turn the ignition to on and then to lock position
and remove the key. Perform this step 3 times. Close then open the drivers
door 3 times. Then you should hear a buzzer sound once. At that point,
push any button on the transmitter 2 times. If youre on track you
should hear the same buzzer as before sound 1 more time. If you want to
program a second or third remote press any button on that one 2 times
and youll hear the same buzzer sound 1 time. When done programming
wait about 15 seconds and youll hear the buzzer sound off 4 times.
This means youre all programmed.
