‘95 Chrysler Cirrus, Interference Engine

Q: Is the 2.5 liter engine in a ‘95 Chrysler Cirrus an interference engine?

- SJ

A: Yes, the 2.5 liter engine in a ‘95 Chrysler Cirrus is an interference engine. If the timing belt fails it can bend the valves, damage the pistons or just plain ruin the engine. I hope this question is being asked while the engine is still running okay.
