'95 GEO Tracker, No Spark at One Cylinder
Q:
I have a '95 GEO Tracker,
one of the spark plugs is not firing. I have replaced all the
wires, plugs, rotor and cap. All the plugs and wires are good. Would the
Ignition control
module be the reason why a cylinder is not firing?

A:
When you say one of
the spark plugs is not firing does that mean it is not getting any
spark? Or is it because that cylinder has no compression and the spark
plug is fouling? If
no spark is the answer then I would suggest moving back to the distributor
cap and
checking for spark where the spark plug wires plug into the distributor
cap. It is possible
that the ignition module is forgetting to tell the ignition coil to fire
a cylinder but it is the
"most unlikely" of all the possible causes.
