Geo Tracker, Unsafe Stalling?

I just
bought a used’96 Geo Tracker for $2500 and it has over 107k . It
is so much fun and runs great, but the service engine light came on and
it has stalled twice. What do you think it could be? Also everyone says
it is very unsafe. Is that true?

how? A Geo Tracker is a small vehicle but there are a lot of small vehicles
on the road. As long as you drive smart, what would be unsafe? As for
the stalling problem, that is unsafe and should be addressed. When the
engine stalls the vehicle is without power to provide the control to safely
operate the vehicle. I would suggest having a repair facility perform
a computer check to find out why the check engine light is coming on.
It could possibly be related to your stalling problem. Without taking
this step there is no telling what unsafe will be.
