M7, Water in the Gas Tank
Q: I have an ‘86 Lincoln M7. There
is water coming out of the tail pipe. I tried water removers. What else
can I do besides removing the gas tank?
A: I’d
say the engine and emission controls must be working darn good. Why? Because
complete combustion (burning of air and fuel in an engine) makes water.
The better an engine runs the more water it makes. If you get thirsty
don’t try drinking it. It’s a bit on the acidic side and full
of nasties.
