Subaru Legacy, A Hot Start Solution
Q: Kathryn
writes to share a problem she had on her '92 Subaru Legacy that closely
resembles the problem another reader had with their Subaru. The difficulty
was with starting the engine after driving the vehicle in hot and humid
weather. The starter would fail to operate and would miraculously cure
itself as the tow truck arrived. Kathryn tells us that her technician
fixed the problem by removing the starter and cleaning the brushes and
contacts, after which she had no further hot weather starting problems.
Thanks for the tip, hope it helps some readers.
