ANTI-PINCH SYSTEM DOES NOT OPERATE NORMALLY (PASSENGER SIDE)

Diagnosis Procedure

  1. PERFORM INITIALIZATION PROCEDURE Perform initialization procedure. Refer to See: Programming and Relearning\Additional Service When Replacing Control Unit\Special Repair Requirement\LH & RH Front Anti-Pinch-Coupe.

Is the Inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 2
NO >> Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.

  1. CHECK DOOR WINDOW SLIDING PART
    • A foreign material adheres to window glass or glass run rubber.
    • Glass run rubber wear or deformation.
    • Sash is titled too much or not enough. Is the Inspection result normal?

YES >> GO TO 3
NO >> Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.

  1. CHECK ENCODER CIRCUIT Check encoder circuit. Refer to See: Component Tests and General Diagnostics\Encoder\Passenger Side\Component Function Check\LH & RH Front Anti-Pinch-Coupe.

Is the Inspection result normal?
YES >> Inspection End.
NO >> Check intermittent incident. Refer to See: Testing and Inspection\Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview\Service Information For Electrical Incident\Intermittent Incident.
