Removal and Installation for High-Pressure Pipe

Removal

  1. Discharge the refrigerant. Refer to See: Heating and Air Conditioning\Service and Repair\Refrigeration System.
  2. Remove the strut tower bar. Refer to See: Steering and Suspension\Suspension\Service and Repair\FRONT SUSPENSION ASSEMBLY\Exploded View.
  3. Remove the upper cowl. Refer to See: Body and Frame\Cowl\Cowl Moulding / Trim\Service and Repair\Coupe.
  4. Remove the lower RH cowl.
  5. Disconnect the power steering hose clamp to reposition the power steering hose out of the way.
  6. Reposition the power steering reservoir out of the way without disconnecting the hose.
  7. Reposition the engine coolant reservoir out of the way without disconnecting the hose.
  8. Remove the high-pressure pipe. Refer to See: Heating and Air Conditioning\Description and Operation\Refrigeration System\Component.

CAUTION:
Cap or wrap the joint of the pipe with suitable material such as vinyl tape to avoid the entry of air.

Installation
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
